Stefanie Engl, Creative Director & Writer & Producer

Stefanie came to filmmaking through fifteen years of storytelling in its many forms, content strategy, copywriting, team leadership, before deciding that the stories she was helping shape weren't nearly as interesting as the ones she had to tell herself.

She studied film music in Stockholm, sound design in Sundsvall, and completed her directing and production training at Waveakademie Berlin. Her work has been recognised with a Best Film Music award, and her projects span psychological thrillers, animated features, and intimate drama, always high-concept, always grounded in emotional truth. She writes, directs, and develops, and she knows exactly what it takes to move a project from an idea on a napkin to a pitch deck in a room.

Volodymyr Palii, Producer

Volodymyr holds a Master's degree with honors in Producing for Audiovisual Arts from Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television, built on an academic foundation in Economics and Management. That combination, creative training grounded in business thinking, has defined how he works ever since.

Over fifteen years, he has held production roles across international features and documentaries recognised at the world's leading festivals: an Oscar-shortlisted feature, films in Venice and Locarno competition, a Magritte Award-winning documentary, and two films made alongside a Palme d'Or-winning director. Born in Ukraine, now based in Berlin, he brings that depth of experience to every project he takes on.

He knows what a shoot looks like when everything is going right, and he knows how to keep it that way when it isn't.

At As You Go Productions, he leads production from development through delivery, bringing festival-level craft to every scale of project.
